Some of the tourist places in Mussoorie that you must visit are the temples of Mussoorie. There are two temples that you must visit: Mussoorie Nag Devta Temple, situated on Mackenzie Road, about 6 km from Mussoorie and Jwalaji Temple(Benog Hill) which is 35 Km from Kangra and 56 Km from Dharamsala. Thousands of devotees flock Naga Devta Temple on Nag panchmi. Jwalaji Temple is dedicated to the goddess of Jwalamukhi, the deity of flaming mouth.
Few other places to visit in Mussoorie are Lal Tibba, Camel’s back road, Gun Hill, Christ Church etc.
Situated at the top of depot hill, Lal Tibba is one of the highest points of the Mussoorie and has an elevation of 2275 meters from the sea level. Do take your camera with you if you don’t want to miss the mesmerizing scenic beauty from this height. The municipal corporation has erected a telescope so that everyone can have a great view from there.
The 3 km long road is named Camel Back Road due to the presence of a natural layout of rocks shaped like a camel hump at the end of the road. If you love walking, go for it!
